The result of it all? Well, I landed a GOD DAMN JOB AS A DESIGNER. I put more thought in what I do, more and more of my work is based on grids.
I also feel I progressed ALOT during the last 30 days (certainly more than during the last 6 months!). I'm feeling really confident in my skills now. I also started frequenting /r/forhire and made about $1k this month there making several people very happy with my services. I fired most of my clients and discussed my rates with the rest of them - some are paying me more than double what they paid before.
I was about to quit this and get a job as a cashier at a PC hardware store admitting failure and scratching my dream of becoming a designer. I wasn't earning any money despite working for 8-10 hours a day (and my financial situation was already pretty bad) and I was stuck with clients who didn't respect me.
